Toshiba Regza 42AV635DB 42-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview and Resolution + Review
I ordered this TV recently from Amazon. Bought to replace my smaller 37 inch lcd tv, & I'm very impressed with this Toshiba. Took me less than 30 minutes to set up. The picture quality is stunning & its great to have Freeview built in.
Main reason for purchase was to enhance video games as I play my xbox 360 through this, & wow, the 42 inch screen makes games look so imposing & vibrant. The speakers are actually not bad on this TV. However, I'd recommend connecting a surround sound system to really enahnce the audio experience for whatever you want to do, whether it be for dvds or games.
Having 4 x hdmi sockets on the back allows connection for many devices, & a small but very useful feature is the headphone socket.
I hunted high & low to find a suitable TV, & I'm so glad I decided on this one. It's fantastic, screen size is massive & it ticks all the boxes.

I have had this tv for 5 months. Since March the sound has been problematic every day and the characters sound like daleks. This can happen several times a day and to put it right you have to switch the tv off and on which is very annoying. Toshiba are aware of this fault and apparently someone is finally coming we hope this Friday 14th May to rectify it but I'm not holding my breath. We were offered a replacement but told the same thing may happen which is absurd, so my advice is please do not buy it.

i baught this tv last week
i coudnt imagin that for this amount of money i could get a 42 inch full hd tv
works best with ps3 and pc throgh hdmi,, four of them on this baby
rseolution plus realy works, sometimes when im watching SD tv chanels, i feel like 720p hd but it depends on the broadcast still it works great
loads of sound and picture options, full control
out look is stunning
i highly recomend it to all

Excellent TV, cheapest 42" around and for what reason im not sure, outstanding picture with and without HD also a brilliant freeview set up on the tv aswell the freeview channel menu has the same set up as that of sky TV's and is really easy to use! i would see no reason to buy any other 42" tv
